Thanks to the folding mechanism, this ruler can also be folded in half to cut half-square triangles from 2" high up to 8" high, and quarter-square triangles from 2" high to 11" high. There are even markings included to omit the dog ear from one corner, removing a step from the sewing or quilting process for you.
